Faridabad: IndianOil R&D has bagged the first prize for ‘Excellence in Energy Conservation and Management’ at the State-level ‘Energy Conservation Awards 2020’ instituted by HAREDA (Haryana Renewable Energy Development Agency).
The award was presented by Chaudhary Ranjit Singh, Cabinet Minister for Power, Prisons and New & Renewable Energy, Government of Haryana, at an event. Dr. Umish Srivastva, CGM (Solar Energy & International Alliances) and Mr. L Kalaivanan, GM (Projects) received the award on behalf of IndianOil R&D.
This award recognises efforts in sustainability and energy conservation in Government buildings having a connected load of 500 KW. In continued emphasis on sustainable practices, IndianOil R&D has implemented several energy conservation measures that have led to saving electricity by nearly 10%.
